Nav w/ mp3 & Nav Hard-drive

Hey gang, has anyone been able to find a way to use the USB connection with a non ipod mp3 player? I've got a Cowon X3 which has all my music and the car won't read it. It's handy to have it displayed on the nav screen instead of looking down to the player.

My other question, can you store music files within the nav hard-drive system?

My USB works just fine with my Samsung Galaxy S3. Unfortunately, I can't help you with your other question.
