Mirror won't stay put due to bass
Somewhat ridiculous question, I know...
I don't feel like my bass is insanely loud, but it's enough to set my rearview mirror on a path downward every time the music starts and I constantly have to readjust while driving. Is there any effective and aesthetically reasonable way to secure it so this doesn't happen? |
Just turn down the bass...or superglue your mirror!
|
There should be a screw behind the mirror try tightening it, no the one going to the windshield.

Either you like the bass a lot louder than you think it is or the mirror swivel joint is loose. If there is no adjustment (see bigaudiofanat's comment above; procedure should be in FSM, if it can be adjusted), you probably need a new mirror.

that set screw is for the base. i dont think it tightens the ball joint.
|
Than as the others said loose the bass lol
|
So what you are all saying is he needs to......drop the bass out of the system.
