Pioneer x8500BHS
 

Hi guys i have x8500bhs, suddenly this morning the headunit is acting weird. It wont turn on then it turned on but the buttons function are scrambled and sone buttons are not functioning. Any idea? The unit is only 3 months old. Buttons finction are scrambled.

Reset the head unit?

+1 just push the reset button with a clip or tooth pick.

i did reset it already but still some buttons are not working. and some buttons are working but wrong function. mute is volume going up. home button not working. mode button became the home button. im frustrated

Sounds like another pioneer has bit the bullet. Try checking your connections over

I was going to suggest maybe some moisture got inside and the unit needs to dry but looking at your location i doubt that would be a cause.
