How do I display iphone on gps

I've seen YouTube videos of people connecting their iPhones to the gps and it displays the iphone screen. How do I do that with out having to take my gps apart ? Is there a special USB !? All I want is a bigger screen like my cars gps screen to play my iphone games and watch YouTube while I'm in my car bored . And by any chance can I watch movies in my car while driving with out having to take apart my gps and instal a kit or cut wires ?

Stock Nav?
If so, you can't do anything.

If the nav has a composite input you can use something like this Lightning to Composite Video or S-Video

It was easier pre iPhone 5/lightning cables

And something like this to use it in while driving http://www.carkitcompany.com/nissan-...-bypass-switch

Yes unless it was bypassed

Unless you're talking about Apple's new CarPlay. That will do what you're talking about, but although the app is out and Nissan is a partner in that, no Nissan's have the hardware enabled yet. I read that 2012 and newer Nissans could be retro'd but Nissan hasnt announced anything yet. They just say "available in 2014".

I'm very confident that you won't be able to watch movies or videos while driving. That will certainly require some kind of aftermarket bypass kit.
