Bose Auxiliary Hardwire
Hello all. I've looked through the threads and haven't quite found this one yet. Im driving a 2011 touring sport wothout Nav and I have decided that I enjoy my Bose stereo enough to keep it but I would like to remove my upper dash cubby and install a car computer. I'm looking at 7" units with navigation, back up cameras, and built in mp3 players, the three key things on my list. I'd like to replace my Ipod/aux cable hookup with this new assembly. Soooooo...my queation is, has anyone hardwired the axuilary input to the Bose head unit through the back of the unit, not the front ? I don't want exposed wires but I want to be able to press Aux on the head unit and control an Itunes app drom the car computer. All insight appriciated.
