If he already has the bose unit installed he doesn't need any of that. I think this would be for people who have bose that want to upgrade to Nav as you would need a heck of a lot more to install it in a base model including harnesses.

The Bose Brain unit is Navi box only with AM/FM tuner, the rest of those items are in several locations, I mean, why go half way?
I think you may be right, he may only have the brain box and none of the ancillary components. Still nice though. I'd go crazy without iPod support though. |

Well, bad news. I received the part#280981EA0A (display harness) as stated in my previous post. Sadly, it's not the large harness I was hoping it would be. Instead, it's a single, small, brown, and square connector for one single point of connection as shown in the far right side of the picture in my original post of the back of the receiver.
Not really sure what to do at this point; certainly open to suggestions. If anyone wants to take on this project, I'll make you a good deal on the package including the additional harness and GPS antenna I've bought. |

Yeah I don't want to give up either, just not sure where to go from here. Does anyone else have any ideas? The only thing I was thinking of trying was to try and find the a used entire wiring harness from a navigation equipped 370z and retrofitting. I've looked at every schematic in the service manual and I see nothing that notates a navi equipped vs. a non-navi touring edition. If anyone with a navi-equipped Z could take out their radio/navi and look to see where the wires are routed; I would GREATLY appreciate it!
