Good amp and sub combo?
 

Hey guys, just a small question. Im still new to matching up subwoofers and amps, RMS and peak and all that stuff kinda confuses me.

I plan on getting an Alpine Type-R 12" for the beast, do you guys have a mono amp you would recommend? Thanks!

I am running a 12 inch type r off a 1,000 watt Alpine MRD-M1005 and I will say in a SUV it is a bit too much. I'd say a solid 500 watt amp like the Alpine MRX-M55 or Rockford Fosgate R500X1D would work nicely in the Z.

in my Z I have a pioneer 2600 , and have a 300w powerbase amp under the seat.. with a 1 10'' kicker solobearix (??sp) in the back in its own sealed box (will eventually get something more custom)..

It is more boom than you could possibly ask for. And the sub/amp+ install was round 400 bucks.

I have a used but looks real good and tested JL Audio made TMA 1000.1 Amplifier I can do for 175 shipped if you would like. It is 1000 watts at 2 ohm.

If you would also be interested in any other New gear let me know.

Appreciate the offer, but im currently in Japan for several months so I wouldn't be able to take you up until I get back :crying:
Just trying to get my ducks in a row before I get home so I can hit the ground running.
