What is the button supposed to accomplish?
Hi All,
New user here, so if I do something incorrectly please correct / direct me accordingly. On my 2009 370Z Touring I have a button on the audio system that seems to do nothing. I am speaking of the Scroll Button. I have read and re-read the owners manual but it gives no indication as to the purpose. My guess is the button should move the display (on Sat Radio) across the display window / screen so one can see all of the available data (it currently clips off the data that does not fit into the window). If in fact that is the correct function - any thoughts about how to correct the issue and paths to repair are appreciated. Thanks, Phil |
Never paid any attention to that button before but just tried it with FM and CD (no sat subscription). The SCRL button doesn't seem to have any effect in FM mode but I couldn't find a station that I was sure had a description that would need to scroll. When playing a CD, the SCRL button works just as one would expect - it shows the next set of characters in that line of text.

Close. It toggles scroll mode on and off. The display will only scroll once, when first tuned. Not like the scrl function on most aftermarket stereos.
