iPhone 6S Hangup when answering a call

Hi, I'm wondering if anyone else has had issues with the iPhone 6S hanging up when you push the "answer" button on the steering wheel. It used to work properly

It used to work properly but has stopped since updating the phone to the new ios 10 software. I have deleted, re paired the phone, etc, and tried a few different things but all to no avail. Is it likely to be the ios 10 software update and therefore I'll just have to wait till Apple comes out with a fix, if they ever do?
