Redline escort 370z?
 

Does redline really can escort our Zs ???? I just bought a redline from ebay and i did not like it at all ... It always beeps at the same locations everyday when i drive by ..and it gets full signal in the middle of nowhere ? what kind of radar do you guys use? Got any same problem than i do ? and is there anyway that i can verify my ESCORT REDLINE is real Escort product ?

I am running the Escort 9500 in both my vehicles. wouldn't use anything else!

I use an Escort 9500ix and it works just fine.

I bought a used redline off of a fellow Z owner and he just had it serviced last summer and it works great. The typical places set it off but NO WHERE near as nuts as my Valentine 1 gets. That thing sniffs out the slightest thing and goes off! Great for highway, not so much for city. If you want one that wont go off in the same areas every single time, buy a escort 9500ix. It has GPS lockout, meaning it uses gps to lock out the fake signals it picks up in the same location every day! Hope that helps.

I have an Escort Redline installed in my Z. I swapped it out for an 8500 that I then installed in my DD. Not much difference between the two units IMHO. I use them only when highway driving … so false alarms are not a major issue. It should be obvious if it's a genuine Passport Escort detector. If in doubt, either post a pic of your unit and someone will let you know or visit the Passport website and compare the appearance of your unit with the photo(s) shown on the site.
