Mine has always worked and I never had need to do any troubleshooting. At this point, all I can think to do is start swapping components. Try another optical receiving

Mine has always worked and I never had need to do any troubleshooting. At this point, all I can think to do is start swapping components. Try another optical receiving device and see if it works with your TV and optical cable. If still not working, try a new cable. &c. Maybe someone that's knows something about S/PDIF will chime in soon.
