Navigation package and Galaxy S4
I have a Galaxy S4 and whenever I use bluetooth, it reads from the phone's music player rather than Pandora or Spotfy. Anyone figure it out how to get it to display Pandora/Spotify info?

Nope I have even had that problem with aftermarket head units and streaming BT from my android. You should still have basic controls still pause play back and forward.

I have no problem with connectivity, I just want it to display all the info. Bleh

Use the hardwire connection.

Do you mean through the USB? It just says check USB Memory or iPod.

What I think you're talking about is displaying Metadata, "Song, Artist, Album, Info, Album art", etc., this is a function of the head units ability (in the case of Android) "SPP" Serial Port Protocol having Metadata in the BT stack.
In the case of iDevices, this is more a single standard and is more likely to be in the head unit, it's in my 2009 Navi. My Navi displays all the text metadata for my iDevices but not for any Android, it doesn't have SPP implemented at all. |
