Radio sound quality very poor!

I'm hoping someone can shed some light on this issue, I've searched the forum but can't seem to find the answer. I've just bought a 2010 370z roadster (Bose) and when listening to the radio it sounds rubbish! It's like listening to music on a mobile phone, no bass whatsoever and really tinny no matter how you adjust the sound settings. But, when playing a CD or music box the sound is quite good, plenty of bass and full sound as would be expected. I can't understand how it can be, that without changing any settings the sound quality can be so different! I usually listen to the radio the majority of the time but I can't even bear to listen to it in this car it's that bad.
