Car Alarm opinions
 

I haven't shoped for an alarm for a car forever. Any recomendations? Its for my 240Z but I figure it generic enough to post with the 370Z ;)

Well this is for a older z also what are you looking to get and what is your price range? Are you looking for remote start for your manual and 2 way pager? Or a simple alarm?

Dont bother, Car Alarms are a huge PITA! I will never install one again and I had one of the best alarm systems you could get at the time.

Just get LoJack installed and keep your car garaged

for 7AT's, the viper system works well

He might not be doing it himself, but they are a but of work I have done a few of them. Would never do one on the 370z's though.

Its for my 240Z. I use to do car audio installs including custom fiber glass, etc as well as being an Electronics Eng so I'm not to worried about the install ;)

My car is garaged but I never had any of my cars stolen from home - it was always while I was away. I'll look into the LoJack and maybe just a flashing light on the dash - probably 90% as effective as an alarm...
