That little square pops out if you have the bumper off, just a bit of foam behind it. I have no idea what the real purpose is, none that I know of. Then just drill out a hole and mount to the square. I like that it's perfectly centered, and almost looks like it belongs there.
What it looks like as soon as I shift into reverse, no matter if the unit is still booting up or not. ![]() Pic with door open and iPhone audio / video cable. I never use the cable though, bluetooth synch is the way. I could tuck the cable, but I wanted to leave access to the USB part of the cable. ![]() Head unit open. ![]() Where the mic is installed. ![]() |
