Car Security does anyone use Dashcams?
Please Read While pooping or if you have some time.
Ok so we just received a new product. There called the ITB-100hd and the ITB-500HD. The itb-100hd is a single channel dashcam with full HD video and audio. and the ITB-500hd aka "the twins" are dual channel. Heres the youtube link to the product actually in play. Soltech Security ITB-100 Car BlackBox: Real Time Recording 1080p (Daytime) - YouTube Watch it in 1080P Below is a product description I made for other wholesalers, this should give you a good idea of the product For added Security to your vehicle, Capture collisions and hit and runs, Audio and HD Video to capture everyday driving for either security or evidence purposes, or to even make youtube videos. Please read Full Description below. -Full 16:9 HD 1921x1080 ultra high resolution at a perfect 24 frames per second -Built in GPS records driving speed and displays it in the PC player. It also records the driving coordinates and matches it to the PC map -Built-in accelometer records any bumps or "shocks" the vehicle receives. -Updateable firmware -Automatically saves video when unplugged -Included 8GB card is only 4 hours of HD video. Easily upgradeable to 32GB -Audio is also recorded side by side with Video for full playback. -Videos are saved in MP4 format so it requires no conversion for no-hassle playback. -Has video out cable so you can watch real time live driving video recorded via NAVI or Monitor Screen -Stylish and flows with any interior of any car. -Auto Parking Mode helps save battery and will only record if there has been a collision or shock or motion of an object. -Sudden collisions will be automatically saved -Easy to understand manual. In English I wanted to help the community by doing maybe a group buy if your interested. Since this is a product i have alot of due to us being contracted with the manu I can probably cut a decent amount off the retail price. If you need more info let me know on the post here so repeated questions arent asked.

Here are the ITB-500HD or "The Twins"
Now for pricing these retail around 500 for the dual channel set up. I can probably do 450 for a group buy or even lower depending on the amount of people interested.

per the thread title, i was hoping this would be something one can use for cars that are parked? like while at a restaurant take vid feed of the car's surroundings to use later for reporting if car is vandalized or something. |

The ITB-100HD retails for 279.99 For the group buy I can drop it to about 245.00 even less depending on group amount.
So its an end consumer product which means its plug and play. If you have questions, again post in this thread so people dont ask the same one over and over again.

Ill upload more videos so you can the the night vision and License plate closeups as well. So yea if someone clips you in the lot it will turn on and record it for you. It also has GPS functions so it lets you know where the accident happened and how fast you were going if it was moving accident.

I have actually thought of getting one. I had an individual driving a huge truck with a stick in front of me and he almost rolled back and hit me. I thought wow there would no way for me to prove it was his fault. He could turn around and say nope was you and now I have whiplash.
Still in my head and I may go grab one. |

Always start by asking AKs permission. You may need to be a paying vendor. Rain was offering dash cams a while back, so its definitely possible if you talk to the right people.

So lets say you park your car and you go outside you can either leave it on for the duration your gone or have it turn on and off with your engine. Now in case of vandalism lets say your dashcam is on then it will record them coming to and from your car now this is when there is no collision involved. Now if the unit is turned off it will automatically turn itself on in case of collision. So if someone hits you in the lot it will turn on and you have a plate number or w.e else you might need. If someone dings you (Now ill have to get back to you on the sensitivity of the sensor but from what i heard its quite sensitive) it will turn on and record the person getting in and out and pulling out of driveway if he decideds to leave. Now when it turns on it will display the time when you take the SD card and put it into your computer it will show you what time the collision happened so you can go to that part of the file and watch which car it was.

Very interesting, do you have pictures of it installed? I would like to know if it can be "hidden" so ppl won't know theres a camera inside.
Also, will you offer installation with it if local? |

Not sure what you mean. isnt it usually the more data the better unless your in the wrong haha. When your in the right you want as much data as possible. You can use it as evidence in court or for insurance purposes.
