iPhone interface availability

Hello Everyone.
I am looking to see if anyone can recommend a particular interface to connect my iPhone to the factory system in my 2011 z. I had a similar setup in my G35 And it worked well. I would also be interested in some sort of interface that would stream the music from iPhone through head unit wirelessly. Yes. I am aware that I can replace the head unit, but want to try something like this first. Any suggestions would be great, thanks.

Maybe something like this? Plug in AUX jack and it streams wirelessly?

TuneLink Auto hardware accessory for iPhone, iPod Touch & iPad

There are new HU's that are NAV ready, with DVD, IPOD, DNLA (bluetooth streaming)etc... For about $300-400.

I know you said that you don't want a HU. But I have spent a good deal of money on music audio cords, wireless streaming adapters for the ipod, radio freq channels that you have to tap into.. at the end of the day, some work, some dont. Some don't work in the hills, etc.

Spend the $200 more and get a decent HU that will look nice and it will also give your speakers more amplification and staging to sound better.

My $.02

And if you do indeed update your receiver, hold off on installing to IOS 7 if you haven't already done so...

I've used the Tunelink product in muliple cars and really enjoyed it with it's wireless ability and starting back up when I start my car the next time.

I have a 2009 which doesn't have A2DP, so I do have an iPod Touch gen 1 in the car, it works great, but I would rather just stream BT from my iPhone, it's always up to date and with me. So, I ordered this today, should be here next week. Only shipping option was SLOW.
This device emulates an iPod/iDevice and to the car interface appears to be an iPod but, it's a BT receiver for A2DP only. It has AVRCP and sends Metadata to the head unit just like an iPod. Supposedly you can remain Hands Free paired to the Navi head unit and this will pair to your iPhone as an A2DP device separately.
I'll test and report!

Columbus halted the testing, maybe it'll be here tomorrow and I can report. Excited to get A2DP in my '09!

Well it was working only intermittently so I returned it and put my 1st Gen iPod Touch back in, it works flawlessly. Sigh.
