Sub power question
 

Hey guys. This might seem like a noob question but I need a clear answer. I am looking into this sub:
Rockford Fosgate P2D4-10 (P2D410) 10" Punch Stage 2 Car Subwoofer

Now my question is what amp would provide enough power to it? I'm thinking this:
Rockford Fosgate R500X.1D (R500X1D) 500W Mono Class D Prime Amp

As long as your only running one sub that will be fine. But I would check out this website. They are cheaper, I have bought things from them before and I haven't found any other site that can beat their prices.

I am running a P3D4-10 and powering it with a P400.1, its plenty powerful, enough to rattle the car, i've been rattle hunting for a couple of months now to make it sound nicer lol.

Just looked at your links, I would stay away from the Prime series amps, the one and only Prime amp i bought (I have multiple Punch series ones) was a dud. Spend a little more money and get the higher quality product line.
