dont listen to Big. he has a complex with Pioneer and PAC. ive bought 5 pioneer HU's the last 4yrs and all of them have been great. 
im also a kenwood fan. if im looking to get nav built-in, definitely would be kenwood. i use to buy alpine solely but not any more.
JVC is also pretty good, but right now Pioneer is king for me. they are very economical too. you can get a 4500BT for like $270... 2500BT for 220. that's crazy cheap.
