I have the Zenclosures box with 2 Boston Acoustics G5 1044 subs pushed by a Boston Acoustics GT2300 Amp. It is WAY overkill for the coupe, even with low profile tires, lowering springs and a loud exhaust (lots of road noise).
Plus the box takes up too much of the usable trunk space. You're left with a space that will fit about 4 grocery bags, and the bags can't be filled up since the top will be crushed a little by the closed hatch. I would suggest one of the Wicked boxes, either the one posted above or the corner sub box. One really good 10" or a decent 12" would be all you need. I also agree with Digitonium on the metallic tweeters. I have Intinity Kappa Perfects which have metallic tweeters and the highs are pretty harsh. |
