So it seems my left woofer went out..in the last week it cut out and came back, but now it just does it all the time and it makes a noticeable rattling noise when it does work. About a year ago it cut out randomly for a few minutes and came back, perhaps it was always defective. I think the voice coil is damaged as it makes a "tinny?" noise when I tap on the cone now.
Anyways they're Polk DB6501s, does anyone know where I can buy just a pair of woofers themselves, I haven't found anything. If I have to replace my entire component set, any recommendations within a similar price range? I'm running them off of my headunit *Kenwood DNX6980* and have a pioneer 10" sub as well.
