Polk Audio db6501 6-1/2" component speaker system — also fit 6-3/4" openings at Crutchfield.com
going with the kenwood dpx500bt and maybe these speakers. anyone wanna chime in on these and tell me if its a good buy? |
Yes, lots of Z owners run these speakers for a basic component speaker upgrade.
You can get them for less on Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/Polk-Audio-DB6.../dp/B000P0R6LQ lots of threads about the db6501's on here. Headunit - no knowledge so no comment. |
I agree with enkei2k. I run the polk component set on my car is they're wonderful for the price point. Doesn't hurt the wallet too much as provides great sound!

yah, nothing bad to say about the polk components. :)

Ran 2 sets front and rears of the DXI6500 last year in my old car scion xb with 100rms to them each channel and sounded pretty dang good. Good product and would purchase another set in a heart beat.

Never had an issue with mine though I didn't run much power to them. They are cheap enough on Amazon to not worry about durability, IMO.

I had them in my last Z, solid, well priced all around speakers that fit good.
