Pro's
decent bass
all-in-one sub + amp
fairly compact
decent price

Con's
could be better

Overall does what it's supposed to do: decent bass for a decent price, all in one amp and subwoofer assembly.
I agree, I had one in a 350Z for about 2 years. It puts out good volume for the size of the Z interior, but it's nowhere as clean or powerful as a seperate sub/amp. If you just are looking for somewhat decent bass and a simple install, it's worth the price.

I've done a few installs with the basslink as well. If you are used to JL especially the W7, this thing is really going to disappoint you. I can almost promise that. I would just fork out some cash, get a good amp/sub combo and use an inline converter to tap into the stock system

Dont do it. Basslinks have a really poor quality driver and amplifier section. They sound ok until they clip. You would have much better sound and output with a single 8" component sub and a small 150 watt amp.
