searched but no good, component needed
 

I searched (search button and Google) but did not find the info I need.

Looking for good sound quality fronts to replace the factory ones. I have $175 (that's it) for the pair. I was thinking of getting the Hertz 165 but looking for other suggestions for that price. Also, do will I need a spacer ring to get my magnet clearance? If I use a ring, will the screen touch the front of the speaker or will there be clearance?

edit: Anyone use the Alpine SPR-60C Type R Two-Way? They seem good too.

Search for speakers there are a ton of threads it's not even funny. Hertz HSK165's are a great choice.

n/m, went to local guy and got Focals for good price.Search done. Now to wait for the rest of my gear to come in the mail before I build a box and lay down some sound dampening material.

Focal is a great choice, I hope your amping them.
