Kenwood DNX9140 vs Alpine IVA-W505/P1
 

Which one is better? Would anyone give me some suggestions?

Kenwood for the nav and bluetooh, alpine for the better sound prduction and ipod integration both very good units.

This would be a great third option! I have the AVIC unit and love it!

Pioneer USA - Navigation Receivers

I am not a fan of pioneer there interface is not that good and ipod integration is buggy.

Pretty happy with my Kenwood DNX6140.

I never said that the alpine nav was goood I never said it was bad either. Plus he may not want the best nav either. I love alpine and will always stick by them but I still have to say that the kenwood is a great unit and a very good competitor. Alpine will still always have better integration for there products and things like the ipod and all, also have better sound reproduction.

I agree………..I would go with Pioneer or Kenwood. Pioneer did have issues with the ipod integration on an earlier firmware, but that’s been updated over a year ago.

I will stick with alpine or kenwood thank you. 5 broken pioneers later I went with alpine never had a single problem.

your the only person i know with 5 broken pioneers must be user error :p
the dnx9140 is by far the best double din out right now. garmin navand parrot bluetooth smoke the alpine. and the kenwood has way more processing built in so it beats the alpine there too.
(p.s. dont you have a pioneer in your car?)
