Where can I mount this amp?
1 Attachment(s)
I got this Phoenix Gold TI1600.5 and don't know where to mount this bad boy since its big as hell, any recommendations?
|
Is it too long to go behind your seat? Hard to tell given a picture and not knowing the exact length behind the seat.
|
Either behind the seat or under it. If it will not fit. Sell it buy one that will fit perfect behind the seat.

Might just sell it, never been use or power up.

Length is not as much of an issue but you will have to relocate a few things and build a base to mount it to. I suggest you remove the back panels and then the styrofoam block behind the seats and measure it all up so you know what will fit, then shop based on that. |
Length is 28 inch, width is 9.8 and height is 2, I think.

I mounted my Phoenix gold behind the seat perfectly fine

That looks good, this is too big for the back seat area.

Sorry, I was referring to the area under the strut bar in the rear hatch where the styrofoam blocking sits.

Sparky is correct. I have a 1000w mono amp in there now with a few fans cause its so hot in vegas

how big is that sub? fits pretty well right there..

.c2 - thats a pretty sweet set-up. :) I wanted to do something like that in my car however I am a bigger guy so my seat is all the way back and is even angled quite far back so there is very little room to put anything back there and me still be comfortable. Thought about going behind the passenger seat but again with some of the friends I drive with it might be difficult. I really wanted that set-up though so that it wouldn't be taking any room at all.
