Looking to upgrade from the stock Bose. I will rewire the car. Thinking of a double din (haven't decided on which one), light weight component speakers in the front only, and a subwoofer box that is stealth like and easily removable for racing. Leaning towards a 3 or 5 channel amp. Any recommendations?
As far as head units go.... I only want a double that flips because it looks cleaner and you get a larger display, nav I don't care about. My last setup was in my Titan with a JL13W7 and JL 1000/1 amp and loved it but it won't fit in the Z. I want something that hits hard and I'm Leary of the shallow mount subs. (I know, hitting hard and light weight are oxymorons, hence the box being easily removable). Maybe a RE Audio XXX 8/10" sub? Or another W7? I've never had component speakers but my buddies Infinity Kappa Perfects sound great.
