Default audio build for bose/nav... JL Audio

so, i've been researching and I think i've got it picked out. let me know how this sounds...

custom sealed box in the dead space in front of spare tire. one JL 8w7ae, powered by a JL Jx500/1 @ 2ohm amp. Audio Control LC2i. 4ga power, 80a fuse, 4ga ground. 8ga power to woofer itself... amp mounted behind pass seat.

should be it right? other than a bass knob. i picked that location so i can still use my cargo cover, the sub for power and sound quality. still up in the air about the amp. mids / tweeters when i have the money. i just miss bass lol

any suggestions? thanks

its been bought. thanks huge tax return

JL 8w7ae, JL XD600/1, Rockford 4awg full wire kit, Audiocontrol LC2i, Audiocontrol ACR-1. Will be wiring in the LOC to the stock bose subwoofer, with the bass control next to my heated seat buttons. Amp will go behind the passenger seat, sub angled towards the rear glass, as much as possible, in the dead space in front of the spare tire. Building a sealed box for now, might switch to ported later. I'm deployed and I just want to install it and enjoy some bump on my drive from where its stored in socal to WA. Can't wait lol

Looks like it will be a great setup, you'll be smiling for sure. Good luck and post up some pics when you're done.
Also, thank you for serving your country and indirectly protecting our Canadian asses up here.

Thanks Sparky, I'll be taking install pictures for sure.

And my pleasure sir. I get to work on / break 200+ million dollar jets for a living, LOL. I've worked around few Canadian military guys, they were very cool, nice guys.. and I've been through Canada twice, so again, my pleasure sir.
