More info on the USB and aux please! I'm about to do my install here shortly and that is very interesting.

Sorry I don't have the link here, someone had posted it a week ago. I got the AUX input via amazon and the USB via ebay.

Looks good man, my only worry is with an AUX cable plugged in its a good change to snap off the cable if you snag it. Not so much worried about the USB.

You can get the aux cable with a 90 degree head, <$5 on ebay

Big, would that USB and AUX work with the kenwood dnx890HD?

Love the USB plug man thats awesome but i would use that for power not thumb drive. id be worried about snapping it off with a lame shift pull or when i do my Dukes of Hazard take off. i put my USB in the glove box since it would be rare that I would switch it out.

Can't seem to find the other thread pertaining to the center console AUX USB modification....

It will work for audio, not for the video part. So if you do not mind omitting your video capabilities through your ipod you would be fine.

OP my other worry as brought up by a customer of mine is unless you have a slim USB stick your going to snap that off in the usb port same as if I said with an AUX port.
