Pioneer Navi Opinions

I wanted to get an opinion from my you guys on the forums before I pull the string on this. Friend can get the unit for 400 plus 100 for the install. Unit seems great for the price wth built in navigation, bluetooth and ipod controlls plus a small amplifier for my pioneer door speakers. No it doesnt play movies but i dont really want that, and the screen isnt anything big, but it seems functional enough

Im mainly looking at this because I really like how you can detach the faceplate to take inside at night or if you leave your car out. Seems like it would discourage theft since the criminals would be looking at stealing a non functional unit without the face plate.

Go with something other that pioneer, I have had 5 of them bad units just pioneer in general. Just not as good as they use to be, and there ipod interface blows as well.
