Just stuff need to wire it all up...
Just bought a Kenwood DNX9980, a JL 10w3, a JL 500/1 amp and Polk Audio DB6501 component speakers. Any one know what I could use to wire it all up. Thanks in advance!:happydance::tiphat:

Call Crutchfield. This is a very broad question that's best addressed by you either calling them up and letting them walk you through the wiring purchases (and process) or doing a search for headunit installs on a base Z.

Close to what I just did... About 50ft of speaker wire... 1 set of RCA's, Merta/Schosce (spelling?) adaptor for head unit, 20ft of 4 Ga power wire, 60 Amp fuse and fuseblock, roll of electical tape, about 150 wire ties, good solder iron, and go to town.. I suggest adding an ebay backup camera while your there ($20), as well as the Metra Axxess steering wheel kit ($65). Should take you about 14 hours to do it all. Oh and you're gonna need some kind of enclosure for the sub.. lol

With only one mono amp for the sub, you have no choice but to use the head unit to power your component speakers :(.. I suggest getting a 300/2 amp for the components, 30 more ft of speaker wire, 2 more sets of RCA's, 2 RCA Y adaptors, and let the amp drive your components.
