installing double Din on Touring model
Guys, I was really looking forward to installing a kenwood double din on my 370Z touring, but the stereo is bigger than the base models, therefore, its not just a plug and play.
Has anyone done a double din on a touring model, or know where to get the parts (trim piece) etc? thanks in advance. |
If you can give me some pics I might be able to help, also dose yours have the nav system or bose?

I'll trade you for my base radio. you can install a double din in it.
I have 400 miles on my car. looks like this: http://ll.speedhunters.com/u/f/eagam...pit%20copy.jpg |
I honestly would have to say even though it is made for DD I would probably have to go with a single din. I would kill myself looking and playing with the screen, plus better quality audio I can get form a single din more prepossessing power for audio.:ugh2:

I will post pictures of this kit with a kenwood dnx6140 installed this weekend. |
I got my DNX6140 installed using the new Metra Dash Kit for Touring models.

Is the headunit the only thing you installed? Where did they mount the receivers for GPS? I'm probably going to follow the same path so wanted some ideas.
