I agree, and I'm sure it's just me being an idiot and missing something completely obvious. I just feel like I'm going to break something with the amount of force I use just to get the prongs in a little bit (and then they just fall out when I let go).

When i installed my MirrorTap, I remember I had to use a lot of force to get those things to slip in next to the wires. I had to play around on all four sides of the Wire to see which side easily went in a little bit first, then pushed down further with force until it was in all the way. I think I even initially bent the connector prong since I was on a side that was tighter than one of the other 3 sides, but bent it back in shape tried a different side and it went in. It is a lot easier if you remove the harness from the mirror as well.
