adding speakers

can u add or rather, replace factory bose speakers with upgrades(4 ohm) without bose issues and can you add a step down in the rear, for an amplifier for a sub any other way than pulling the head unit. thanks for any help or thoughts. Mez.

You are better off doing the whole thing if you have the bose system. Amp and speakers at the same time. You might as well get a multi channel amp power the fronts and sub at the same time.

thanks for the response, but really want to keep factory unit and just change out speakers with better sound and just add an amp in the back with 1 sub.

You going to at least need a LOC, new amp, speaker wire, and speakers than.
