I don't want to start another Pioneer vs. Kenwood war (I've seen a lot in my searching).
Looking to get an in-dash DVD player and add XM radio. I don't need anything super high end but I want a nice unit. 1. Which fits better? I would prefer to not use aftermarket bezels and such. I'm leaning towards the Pioneer AVH-P1400DVD. 2. Do either (or both) of these fit using the OEM brackets and bolts? I don't want to use one of those universal sleeve things. Too flimsy. 3. I read a little about how Kenwood can display the GPS app from iPod. Does this sort of make it a poor man's in-dash GPS? How does it work? If anyone has installed pics that would be great. Thank you!! ![]() |
