Bluetooth audio?
Hi, I have 09 370z with stock Bose audio system.
I just had rental car 2013 Altima and I'm in love with Bluetooth audio connection. Is there any bluetooth audio connector available for 2009 370z? I wish my stock bluetooth audio plays the music!!!!! |

Thanks you for the information. Instead of playing Pandora, does this receiver plays the music from the phone and will my controller works?

If you don't want to change headunit you can add bluetooth and iPod to your factory radio IF it has XM by adding the iSimple Media gateway. You can skip tracks on anything thats playing via bluetooth and you can actually browse your music library if it's an iPod 30 pin connection.

if your looking for a cheaper alternative you can get the bluetooth dongle here
TaoTronics BTI-005 Bluetooth Audio Dongle Receiver The cockpit of the Z is so small that the steering wheel controls are almost usless for the stereo. You can change the songs with the dongle but its easier to do it with the phone. |
Bandit_Kaine, I was looking at the same product and I see that, I have to purchase bluetooth module. Which it is going to cost me around $300.... Which I can add little more money to go with aftermarket audio system....
P-Kidd, So I have to buy an Axxess or PAC to make my steering controller..? I thought it comes with the connector.. Cbtech, wow that dongle is pretty nice too, but I'm looking for something that will work with steering wheel controller. Thanks for the info. Thank you guys for the information. My option is keep my stock unit with iSimple Gateway or aftermarket audio system... What do you guys think? |
Personally I don't care for aftermarket head units unless you're looking to go competition audio or something .. But for the price of the gateway and Bluetooth module you could get a nice head unit with more features.. I guess it's up to you whether you want to keep it looking stock or not. IMO I just don't see the use of a double din so low in the dash.
