Antenna location?
Hi to all,
Just moved over here from the 350Z forum after picking up my Nismo yesterday. I want to put my Kenwood Navi unit in this one but have no idea where to mount the GPS antenna. Any support is thanked! |

Use the metal adhesive pad and mount it next to the tweeter location.
Or in the trunk under the trunk mat.

Just put it INSIDE the dash behind the head unit and check your reception. From personal experience the couple of times i have installed navis in my previous cars I got full reception even when I put the antenna inside of the dash just behind the head unit. Never had any issues the 4 or 5 times i have done it this way.

Never had any issues with accuracy on mine. Maybe because there was possibly no metal parts above it, not sure. But it was spot on down to 3 mtrs.

Mine is on the dash by the tweeter, it blends in and you hardly notice it.
