If you really want a good night signal, you may want to consider upgrading the reverse lights to some bright LEDs to illuminate the rear of the car better- this should give the cam more exposure, which will lower the ISO and eliminate some of the noise (hopefully). |

I was thinking about that.
someone on the forums had modded their ebay OEM versa reverse light to something better i just cant seem to find the post. Has anyone had an issue with their camera sending like a ghost signal their head unit making it switch screens when its not on? I posted a review of my camera but no one has commented. |

Im installing mine tonight so Ill let you know if I do.
Did either of you need to use a remote line to let the HU know you were in reverse? Did you use the same wire you used for power for the cam? And I remember seeing that post as well, someone basically took this camera holder, pulled out the camera, and put a pioneer or other one in it so it had the nice OEM look that this one does, but without the crappy cam. |

My pioneer deck recognizes the signal once power is sent to the camera. There was no need to wire anything to the deck other than the rca
