The ebay one I used that I linked earlier had an "ok" image at night. Lot of noise, as is to be expected.

If you really want a good night signal, you may want to consider upgrading the reverse lights to some bright LEDs to illuminate the rear of the car better- this should give the cam more exposure, which will lower the ISO and eliminate some of the noise (hopefully).

I was thinking about that.

someone on the forums had modded their ebay OEM versa reverse light to something better i just cant seem to find the post.

Has anyone had an issue with their camera sending like a ghost signal their head unit making it switch screens when its not on? I posted a review of my camera but no one has commented.

Im installing mine tonight so Ill let you know if I do.

Did either of you need to use a remote line to let the HU know you were in reverse? Did you use the same wire you used for power for the cam?

And I remember seeing that post as well, someone basically took this camera holder, pulled out the camera, and put a pioneer or other one in it so it had the nice OEM look that this one does, but without the crappy cam.

My pioneer deck recognizes the signal once power is sent to the camera. There was no need to wire anything to the deck other than the rca
