darn. Well. I'll test the grounding theory for the forum and let you all know what I find out. If it doesn't work, then I'll move forward with the Hack. As I beta the "ground" method, any recommendations? I was planning on splicing it directly to the BLACK ground wire.

Bluetooth compressed your music down to around 229 KBPS which is even lower than most music downloads today. Yes it is better than radio but still bad IMO. It is nice not having wires though.

Yes you are going to need a video bypass, some are moving a pin some are grounding some need a special rig to trick the system. Yours will need a special circuit to trick the system.

Also just putting this out there. I am still seeing a lot of people having problems with pioneers after a year or two. I recommend going with kenwood instead.

Not that simple anymore buddy, not for a lot of head units. Kenwood is still easy as grounding the lime green wire.

So I'm not audio installer, but if you can, could you explain how this signal process works for the audio bypass? I'm trying to understand how the process works and how to trick it. Its more of a "How things work" need to know for me.

Newer head units need to see a certain check list in order to allow you to watch movies. Usually something like.

Brake on (hold)

Put parking brake on

Brake off than on again than release.

This tells the head unit for sure that you are in park.

No,

If you want it done the correct legal way your going to need to tap bother your parking brake and your normal brake and do the procedure each and every time your stopped.

If you want to watch or input addresses while driving than you need that bypass.
