So I got everything connected and it all worked perfectly including the remote trigger on the LC2i. Man what a difference this has made to the stock Bose.
I'm very pleased.  This is only a single 10" at 200W but it hits plenty hard enough without overpowering the stock system. Any more and I feel it would be too imbalanced. Not entirely clear on the LC2i settings yet and the bass roll off if any, so I'll drive it with the hatch interior out for a few days and play with the settings.
