CRAP!! Things keep getting worse
So I decided to move my sub behind the driver seat today. Was in a rush and accidentally switched the +&- terminals on the sub. Turned on the car and no sound from the sub. Checked the amp, it's not on either. Checked the fuses-all good there too. Basically I took everything apart and put it back together. Still nothing. Also, I hard wired my escort radar a while ago and now that's not turning on either.
I got a new relay and that didn't solve any problems. Radio still comes too. Think something is wrong with my remote wire but I have no idea. |

reversing your sub wires would have nothing to do with it. get out your multimeter and start checking for power at the amp. first check 12v+, then remote, using ground wire at amp, then re-check at a different ground point. re-check fuses. if you have a glass fuse in your power wire, change it. sometimes they blow and you cant tell by looking at it. i have had many bad fuses this way.
I'm betting on the ground, though.

Ron is correct, you would still have gotten sound. Like he said make sure your wake up wire is connected and not getting grounded out somewhere. Also make sure the power light is on, check your grounds as well. One last thing make sure your rca's are plunged in as well.

Maybe your woman can help you out. lol
Just get a voltmeter and start checking for power and continuity to ground.
