Default Alpine HU with OEM Antenna

Has anyone successfully been able to attach the OEM antenna to an aftermarket HU? I currently have the XM antenna on the front dash with metal plate and reception is not very good. Lots of dead spots where I live with this setup. Reception was good with OEM XM and roof antenna.

Any help appreciated.

Correct, would like to use the stock XM antenna. I'm guessing I'm SOL.

You can use the factory XM antenna for a XM alpine receiver, I think there is one tab you may have to cut off of the factory conector to make it fit, however it will work.

No need to cut the tab off the connector just remove the pink fakra buy disengaging the white clip on the bottom. It should pug right in after that save the fakra end for the future in case you want to return the car to factory
