Howdy all,
I'm currently in the process of dynamatting (and sooner installing) for my new sound system in my Z. I've already dynamatted the trunk (used approx. 8.5/12 sheets in bulk pack) using Dynamat Superlite and next plan to do the doors. Questions - 1) Has anyone else used Superlite? How did you find it with road noise and how does it compare with Dynamat Xtreme? I know the common argument of heavier dynamat = more mass = less vibration however I'm interested in people's actual experiences with both products. 2) Is it worth doubling up and using 2 layers of Superlite (or 1 layer Superlite / 1 layer Xtreme) on the doors and trunk? 3) How many sheets of Dynamat do I need to cover the inside and outside skins of both Z doors? Thanks in advance! |
