My Metra harness adaptor has a blue wire on it for remote amp turn on. I think this wire is for the stock Bose amp which I am no longer

Remote Amp Turn On Wire
My Metra harness adaptor has a blue wire on it for remote amp turn on. I think this wire is for the stock Bose amp which I am no longer using. I'm using the remote lead from my HU to hook up my amp and antenna adaptor. I'm I on the right track?
