I know that I'm pretty late, but here's the solution. Although you can't open your doors, you can still open the trunk. Pop the trunk. Don't bother trying the rear lock/unlock button (most of us rarely use that button anyway). Use the rectangular trunk release button. When the trunk opens... So should the doors.

So my keys are in my backpack and I threw them in the trunk. So it is possibly to lock them in. The backpack is blocking the signal of the key fob thus, the keys are locked and I managed to lock my keys in a car that is designed to not lock your keys inside of.

I always lock my car with the fob once I am outside the car with the doors shut. That way I'm sure I have the key.

i locked mine in the trunk once....it was during finals week. just took a 3 hour final and locked all my notes in the trunk when i only had a few hours till my next 3 hour final.
