I had a chance to do a little work today. I sanded the flashing off the edges and fit the box in, I love the look and I've decided to stay with the original shape. I laid out a bunch of different tape lines following the strut tower edge to the top and the box started to get to big for the look I want and it was losing its curves (I like curves, as you can see from my corner unit!), the only way to get them back would be to raise the height of the speaker ring, that’s a no go for me.

Hows the build-up coming? both boxes built yet?

Body work is done and ready for paint on the first one. The spot for the second one has been preped and ready for glass.

Between the weather not cooperating and the fact that my business has been a bit crazy lately, I really haven't any time to work on the second enclosures. I did manage to work on the first one, layered 6 coats of paint and 6 coats of clear, 4 light and 2 wet. In another 10 hours (waiting 48 total) I can begin the sanding and polishing. I also had the chance to install the terminal plate and the internal wire. Went with some Monster M series that I had laying around from my home system.

sweet, that looks awesome! I have the wicked audio system that fits over the spare so I cant do this, but it would be a fun project to try. +rep

Thank you. It's not that hard to do, it's the body work that can make or break the project. Back at you.

I was able to get the second shell started today. I got lucky and the rain stopped for a bit.
