Default Best headunit 200-300$?

Looking for the best headunit I can get in this price range. Willing to budge 50 bucks or so. Also, do double din head units fit right in the OEM slot or do I need some sort of fitment kit? I would rather not get the kit if there are ones that are direct fits with no gaps.

Thanks!

From my understanding, double-din units fit the OEM slot. What features in a head unit are most important to you? That's a great way to start. List 5-10 must-haves.

Honestly all I need is for it to play DVD's, have pretty good power by head-unit standards, and fit properly without gaps. Dont need any bells and whistles like blue tooth or navvy or any of that. Working with the steering wheel buttons would be nice as well.

Clarion CX-501. Looks like the stock unit, but has all the bells and whistes with built in mic for hands free calling, etc.
