Default Axxess ASWC random Source changing

I have been having an issue with my Axxess AWSC. After I got it installed it seemed to be working great, all buttons worked, etc. I then noticed my stereo was randomly changing the Source to the next one. Like I was pressing the Source on the steering wheel. Volume up and down too. Happens like 1-2 times a day. I thought it was definately a wiring problem as I had some concerns with tapping into the car harness (used the wire taps for the 3 wires). I decided to wire it up better by using another Scosche stereo harness to use some of the wires and I installed them on my wiring harness for these 3 wires. Install went ok and I was hoping this would fix the issue. Nope. Happened once again on the way to work today.

I also found this intersting thread on another site: http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show....php?t=2313061

Looks like I may have to try updating the firmware next.

I know a friend of mine was having a similar issue in his jimmy, after I installed everything the unit would volume down a few notches. I know I have not had time to check his problem out. I would give metra a ring.

Apparently this is a known issue with older revision firmware units. Random change of source and volume controls, etc. I think April is when the new firmware came out. I ordered the USB-CAB cable to flash it to the latest version. Hope this does the trick!
