Default Bluetooth problem iPhone 4s won't detect the cars Bluetooth

I jut bout my 09 with 20k clean as hell yesterday and I can not get my iPhone to connect to the cars Bluetooth on my phones screen "my car" won't pop up it could sit there for a minute or two and do absolutely nothing until the passcode cancels out am I doing something wrong? Or do I have to take it to the dealer like all my friends are suggesting? Also how much would it cost I bought the car from a Lexus dealer I assume I'd have to take it to a Nissan dealer?

you know try another bluetooth device.

My gf's car is a TL but its bluetooth was working until the last apple update. Make sure it isnt the phone first.

then make a trip to nissan, and they should fix it. Another person on this forum had a problem with their bluetooth module and that was replaced.

Thanks when I get back home I'll definitely try another device now if it's just the iPhone update what does that mean can I go to the dealership and get the Bluetooth system updated?

No, because thats an issue with the phone. only thing you can do unfortunately is wait for apple to release a new update.

My gf's car works on and off, its sketchy with that last update.

Try deleting the other BT devices and repair.
